Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia

Phnom Penh is the vivacious bustling capital of Cambodia. This place is situated at the convergence of three rivers. The names are the Bassac, the mighty Mekong, and the great Tonle Sap. Once upon a time this was considered the ‘Gem’ of Indochina. Phnom Penh still maintains extensive charm with plenty to see. Phnom Penh is an absolute oasis when it is compared to the modernity of other Asian capitals. In Phnom Penh, you will get a mixture of Asian exotica and the famous Cambodian hospitality. The capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia is a perfect place to reside for few days.

Many interesting tourist’s spots are there in the capital. Some of them can be mentioned as the Silver Pagoda, the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, the Royal Palace, Wat Phnom, the National Museum, and the Choeng Ek Killing Fields. The whole area that includes the outskirts of Phnom Penh is measured about 376 square kilometres big. Presently 2,009,264 people are living in Phnom Penh.

Khan 7 Makara comprises of 8 Sankat where communes and 33 Villages, Khan Dan Penh is the district where 11 Sangkats and communes and 134 villages are there. Khan Tuol Kok is the district where 10 Sangkats, communes and 143 villages are there, Khan Meanchey is the district where 8 Sangkats, communes and 30 villages are there, Khan Chamkamorn is the district where 12 Sangkats, communes and 95 villages are there. Khan Rusei Keo is the district where 12 Sangkats, communes and 59 villages are there, and Khan Dong Kaor is the district where 15 Sangkats, communes and 143 villages are there.
