When someone visits in a new place he or she tries to buy some souvenirs for their near and dear ones. In Cambodia you can shop anything according to your own choice. You can visit the capital city named Phnom Penh and also Siem Reap and Sihanouk ville. At these places you will get variety of art, souvenirs, artwork, silks and handicrafts. Various shops in the market offer good range and variety of shopping goods and products. Some of the traditional Cambodian souvenirs include Buddhist and Angkorian themed carvings and statuary, fine hand-loomed silks, colored gems, hand-pounded silver work, and traditional handicrafts. Tuol Tom Pong Market or Russian market: This shopping market is more commonly referred to as the Russian Market by the foreigners. Located at the corner of St. 440 and st.163 and south of Mao Tse Tung Blvd his market is really worth visiting. You can trust on this market if visiting Cambodia for the first time. You can get a large variety of fake and real antiques here. It is the best place in town for souvenir shopping as well. You can also get silk, miniature Buddha’s, ganja, gems, silver jewelry, video and a host of other goodies. T-shirts, jackets, trousers, or shoes are also available at very reasonable rates.

New Central Market or Phsar Thmey: In this market area you can get Krama’s i.e. red and white checked scarves, household items, stationery, flowers, clothes for sarongs and second hand clothes. These second hand clothes are available from U.S. and Europe. You can take some good photographs in the fresh food section. Some good food stalls are there to attract the visitors. Central Market is certainly a very good and one of the best markets of Phnom Penh. The market is open from early morning until early evening.
